Crippling comparison, self doubt and lack of confidence have been the overwhelming themes in my life over the past couple of weeks. It wasn’t until I took a step back, re-evaluated a few things and invested more time into me that I now feel like I’m coming out the other side (for now). If you’ve been feeling the same lately, 1. You’re not alone and 2. I’m here to provide a few apps, podcasts and accounts that have really helped me during this period.
- The SOS Podcast by Liv – A weekly self-help podcast covering mental health, body confidence, career and self development. If you’re a sensitive soul like me and wear your heart on your sleeve, this podcast is for you!
- Clementine app by Kim Palmer – when self doubt slips into your thoughts and makes you question everything youโre doing this wellness app will get you back on track. - Sustainable fashion blogger, inclusivity writer and all round babe Nicole Ocran giving me life in lilac – she really is a ‘ where can i buy Quetiapine without prescription fritz http://sjfiremuseum.org/?mcsf_action=main_css bernaise‘.
- I ordered myself Lucy Sheridan’s ‘The Comparison Cure’ book today and I can’t wait to get stuck into it. Very poignant for how I’ve been feeling.
- Reposed – Reposed is a book subscription featuring contemporary literary fiction, alongside a considered selection of beauty and lifestyle gifts from independent and luxury designers and brands. Including skincare, herbal teas, gourmet snacks and bespoke stationery, Reposed offers the perfect gift to yourself or for someone you know going through a hard time right now…
- Seeing myself in this article by The Every Girl was not only a confidence boost but also a much-needed reminder of why I do what I do…
- The Enthusiast Ellie – from dishing out daily wisdom on Instagram to podcasts and motivational talks, I absolutely love following Ellie on Instagram. If you’re looking to reclaim your enthusiasm, and be unapologetically proud of loving what you do, I highly recommend adding Ellie into your life and Instagram feed.
- Vix Meldrew – Grow & Glow community founder, blogger and amazing cheerleader. I sat down on a 1-2-1 zoom call with Vix last week and it was the most motivating talk I’ve had since lockdown. She helped realign my thoughts, gave me a serious pep talk and offered guidance when I was feeling incredibly lost. I’m really grateful for her, the community she has created. And for giving me the tools and resources I need to grow my business in lockdown and beyond.
I’d love to know who and what’s been making you feel good this week? Give it a try…
