Well hey there and happy November to ya. I hope you’re all having an amazing month so far!
Waking up to torrential rain this morning was tough. But after a big fat nope to getting up, I managed to drag myself out of bed, head to the gym, put on my new pair of black trousers from Monki (which make me feel girl bossy af by the way) and kick some Tuesday butt.
The next couple of weeks are going to be a busy one for me and I’m not sure how much I will be able to blog during this time – wah. Working in the digital marketing team for a voucher website/app means that Black Friday is the busiest time of year for me. It’s all hands-on decks to try and make some major mula and help our users bag a serious bargain ready for Christmas. So if you’ve got your eye on an expensive designer item or home essentials then now’s the time to get looking and nab yourself a deal. I know I will be!
After this I can take one big sigh of relief and finally get back to BAU – blogging as usual. I’m planing to write up lots of lovely Christmas content for you including gift ideas, Christmas beauty edits, Christmas party style diaries and lots more. So bear with me!
Anyway, let’s move on to the point of this blog post. I wanted to show you guys the items I’ve been loving this month. Some products are new to my collection and some are my holy grail. Either way these are my every day saviours that I can’t get enough of right now!
Mac Blusher in Swiss Chocolate
I have a slight obsession with chocolate shades right now and I’m OK with that. Swiss Chocolate is a soft cocoa blush with a matte finish which was recommended to me by one of the Mac girls on the Bristol counter. I’m so glad she did because it’s now one of my firm favourites and part of my every day make-up. The colour is buildable with a real natural tone and adds a subtle contour to my face which I LIVE for. I also plan to get the matching eye-shadow too, just sayin’.
Mac Mineralize SkinFinish Natural in Dark Deepest
Lately I’ve been enjoying a more natural, bronzed glow for my daily make-up. I have very oily skin and prone to one hell of a shiny nose 2.5 seconds after leaving the house. So not only does this work as a setting powder but it’s also the perfect bronzer/contour colour that I can pop in my handbag for on-the-go top ups.
Ah Whirl. The Kylie Jenner cult classic and quite possibly the greatest Mac shade of all time, no? You may think I’m being extra but it’s just my opinion tbh. The colour is EVERY-thing and the rosy-brown shade makes the perfect every day nude. As you can see from the picture above I’m actually running out because I use it excessively. If this is your kind of shade stock up ASAP because it’s pretty hard to get hold of.
Now the weather is dark, rainy and miserable 89% of the time, I have taken to Hygge like a fish to water. For those of you who haven’t heard of it; Hygge is the Danish concept of feeling cosy, prioritising your well-being and enjoying the simple pleasures. Clomiphene clomiphene citrate buy “Hygge means creating a nice, warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people around you”. I’ve been enjoying cosiness at it’s best with furry blankets, my onesie, surrounding myself with Diptyque candles and of course reading books by the fire. My advice if you’re trying to deal with this gross weather – get some HYGGE in your life!
This metal handle bag has been the blogger/insta accessory of the moment. After the Zara version sold out literally everywhere I cursed the high street gods and gave up owning this bag. Eventually, I found this beautiful alternative on astringently Forever 21! This bag is my go-to, every-day bag and I love how many compliments I get on it, despite the low price point.
H&M’s knitwear game is so strong lately and I’m convinced they don’t care about my house saving plans and want to see me in debt. I don’t care though because this is the warmest, cosiest winter jumper I own right now. RIP my bank balance.
What are your every day saviours?
